Jewish Family Service offers high-quality, individualized, person-centered counseling to individuals and families of all ages and faiths.

We pay attention to the whole person. We may help a client through grief and loss, resolve trauma, or adjust to a new normal. We can help a client realize, for example, that depression and anxiety do not need to be endured, but can be improved. 

You can use counseling to  build an honest and trusting relationship with someone who is outside of your situation, who can be a sounding board. When problems are shared, they feel a little less heavy. 

According to the Talmud, “Whoever saves a single life is considered by scripture to have saved the world.” Our commitment is to come to this work with this same powerful sense of the worth of each individual. Our commitment, therefore, is to treat each client with dignity and respect.

Jewish Family Service is proud to have a staff comprised of licensed, degreed social workers and counselors who provide behavioral health therapy.

Where?

We have private, discreet offices in our main location. Thanks to special funding, and if requirements are met (such as physical limitations), we are also able to meet you in your home. 

What is the cost and what payment sources are accepted? 

We bill health insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage plans. For those who qualify, we offer financial aid. Private pay is also available.
