Oversee the development of strategic directions, resources and programs to support the needs of youth in the Jewish community, their families and the organizations serving them, including religious schools, day schools, camps, and congregations. Participate in strategic planning in partnership with Jewish community leaders and mental health professionals. Lead the evolution from strategic planning to implementation and direct day-to-day operations focused on youth mental health.
During the planning stage and as the initiative develops, this position will also provide care management and coordination for emergent situations with families in the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Program Leadership
• Join a strategic planning committee already engaged in identifying the needs for youth mental health services serving the Jewish community and investigating potential solutions
• Partner with the committee and JFS leaders to help draft a strategic plan for serving the needs of youth
• Lead the implementation of the plan
• Direct day-to-day operations focused on youth mental health at JFS
• Develop relationships with individual providers and organizations to facilitate warm client handoffs for referred services
• Partner with the development team to support grant reporting and outreach to funders and donors. Manage grants, budgets and reporting
• Partner with marketing team to develop visibility for the project and for services as they develop
• Work with database administrator to design a documentation system for client interactions
• Performs other relevant duties as needed
Care Management
• Provide care management work and assist families with navigating youth mental health resources
• Assesses and identify client strengths, needs, concerns, and preferences
• Establish goals with clients and a plan of care
• Implement the plan of care
• Document care management in accordance with JFS protocols
• Provides high level of quality customer service to clients and their family members
• Participate in assuring compliance to all agency and funder specifications and regulations
• Provides care mangerment meeting ethics, standards and practices of profession

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling preferred
• If Master’s degree in a field related to care management must have 1 year of paid, full-time supervised care management experience
• If degree requires a license such as social work or nursing, licence must be current
• CMC (Care Manager Certified, CCM (Certified Care Manager), C-ASWCM (Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager) or C-SWCM (Certified Social Work Case Manger) preferred

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides operational assistance to the functioning of the JFS Heldman Family Food Pantry at the Barbash Family Vital Support Center. This position will work in conjunction with the JFS Food Pantry manager to keep the operations of the pantry running efficiently. This program provides services to low income individuals and families who experience food insecurity. The Food Pantry Assistant position involves organizing pantry inventory, stocking, picking up groceries, packing client food orders and client shopping assistance. The Pantry Assistant interacts directly with JFS staff, volunteers and community members. The Pantry Assistant supports seasonal delivery projects of food to families in need. Pantry operational procedures are subject to change as the current public health situation evolves.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Transport groceries between vendors, community partners, and the JFS Food Pantry
• Restock and organize pantry shelves
• Oversee pantry volunteers as needed
• Pack client grocery orders and in-person shopping assistance (when it resumes) as needed
• Track and report pantry inventory
• Collaborate with care managers of the agency regarding food pantry client needs
• Assist Food Pantry Manager in seasonal projects related to food distribution at pantry

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Virtual/Online Engagement Manager will oversee the technical aspects of the development and delivery of online programs and services for Jewish Family Service, including staff support for those leading programs and client support for program participants. As JFS has pivoted from in-person to online programs during the pandemic, this position will contribute to the enhancement of program delivery methods to allow for optimal participation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
REMOTE PROGRAMS TECHNICAL OVERSIGHT
• Oversee the analysis of platforms utilized for delivering virtual/online programs
• Oversee improvements and enhancements to delivering virtual/online programs
• Oversee the coordination and implementation of agency online programs associated with program grants
• Interact with virtual/online program leaders to help resolve issues related to program delivery
• Coordinate services with the Director of Information Technology to insure compatibility of software and hardware needs
• Prioritizes and responds appropriately to issues
EQUIPMENT SOURCING, SET-UP AND DELIVERY
• Oversee product options, pricing, and purchasing of tablets for clients
• Prepare tablets and other equipment for client use
• Deliver equipment to client homes, set-up and train on usage
CLIENT/PARTICIPANT SUPPORT
• Oversee training and coaching of program participants to increase participation in and comfort with virtual/online programs
• Remote in to participants computers and tablets to trouble shoot and coach
ORGANIZATION INTEGRITY
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• In collaboration with JFS IT Services, ensure security of program delivery and client information duties as assigned, including general support of the activities of the Development

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate’s degree or certifications in Information Technology. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide individual psychotherapy and family caregiver counseling to the older adult population within the context of the philosophy and mission statement of Jewish Family Service. To provide a range of complex clinical and mental health services in the home or office to an older adult population or family caregivers including completing and reviewing initial paperwork, providing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans with the client and providing individual therapy with identified adults.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Develop and nurture mutual relationship and confidence with clients.
• Care for clients with emotional challenges, including but not limited to anxiety and depression.
• Provide answers to client questions regarding services and initial paperwork.
• Review clients’ personal, social and health history to learn their background and needs.
• Work with clients to develop effective and realistic treatment goals and determine the best treatment approach to assure progress and success.
• Enhance clients’ cognitive and behavioral changes that are in line with the overall treatment.
• Evaluate the efficiency of treatments and identify the most effective ones.
