Ann Sutton Burke, MPA, CMC, is the Director of Aging and Caregiver Services and an Aging Life Care professional. She received the Outstanding Professional in Aging award from the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio, and is the President of the Association of Professionals in Aging. Ann’s expertise in helping senior adults live independently in their own homes was nationally recognized when she gave testimony at a United States Senate hearing. Ann has a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Gerontology, and Masters of Public Administration from Xavier University.
Gail Gepsman Ziegler, MSW, LISW-S, is the Senior Manager of the Center for Holocaust Survivors. She is a fierce advocate for survivor needs and routinely speaks at local and national conferences. Her work focuses on care management and restitution for Jewish Holocaust survivors. She was honored as a community leader by the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education. Gail received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.
June Ridgway, MSW, LSW, is the Manager of the Your Experts in Aging geriatric care management practice. She is an Aging Life Care professional and coordinates services for CareLink:Your Experts in AgingTM care management including intake, elderly care solutions, caregiver coaching, resources, and support. June has over 20 years of experience in the medical social work field including University Hospital and a local hospice. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Masters of Social Work from University of Michigan.
Karla Reinelt Doerrer, MSW, LISW-S, provides independent living assistance and social work counseling to older adult clients. She previously worked in a geriatric psychiatric inpatient unit and at the Veterans Administration outpatient mental health clinic providing individual psychotherapy. Karla holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Social Work, and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.
Leah Freed, MSW, LSW, provides supportive counseling and comprehensive case management including assistance with Holocaust claims, benefits and entitlements for Holocaust survivors and their families. Before joining Jewish Family Service in 2011, Leah helped launch the Bronx Holocaust Survivor Program. She holds a Masters of Social Work from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
Luda Gikhman, MA, is an ESOL Instructor and Care Manager. A professor at Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati, she specializes in immigration and naturalization issues. Luda represents JFS on the American Red Cross Greater Cincinnati Dayton Area International Services Committee and with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Her M.A. in English Language is from Donetsk State University, Donetsk, Ukraine.
Tina Knaley, BSW, LSW, assists with all aspects of older adult care management including elderly care solutions, supportive counseling, and caregiver support services. She provides case management, advocacy, and individual counseling that helps improve the lives of older adults and their families. Tina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University.
Suzanne Schweiger, MSW, LSW, provides both older adult and caregiver counseling, case management, elderly care solutions, community resources and advocacy for her clients. She has extensive experience in home health social work. Suzanne has counseled older adults in nursing care facilities and hospitals. Suzanne holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.
