Tell us a little about yourself

I grew up in Cincinnati and other than going to Ohio State and spending a little time in Columbus have been here my whole life.  I am a product of Reading High School and spent my youth running around the old JCC on Summit Road and then summers at Camp Livingston.  The Jewish Community has always been a big part of my life.

What is your volunteer history?

While in high school I tutored every day during my study hall at the local elementary school.  I served in Americorps for 2 years after college.  I have spent most of my career working for nonprofits. I am now volunteering as a school based mentor through the Jewish Family Service Bigs and Littles program.

What are your hobbies?
I enjoy fitness, sports (especially JCC softball), and of course dancing.

What is your best dancing asset?
My hips don’t lie.

What inspired you to dance for Jewish Family Service?

JFS does amazing work in the community.  As someone who has a background in nonprofits and a passion for helping others, I can’t think of a better agency to support or a more exciting way to do it.

What don't we know about you that would make someone want to support you?

My hair used to be 10 inches long.  I cut it all off, shaved my head bald actually, while raising money for different charities in the process.  If you don’t support me, I am going to grow my hair back that long again.

What did your family say when you told them you were dancing?

They are very excited to attend.
