Tell us a little about yourself
Born and raised in Findlay, Ohio, I attended Miami University, and have been a Cincinnatian ever since . Shortly after graduating, I relocated to Cincinnati  (after accepting a job) and have called it my home for almost 20 years!   I live with my husband Josh, our 2 kids Ethan + Ella and our dogs, Coco + Java!

What is your profession?

This one depends on who you ask! My kids would say I am a MOM and their Personal Chauffeur, which definitely takes up majority of my time. As  for a profession, I am the owner of Chrissie Blatt Creative, and spend time planning special events for non-profits,  Bar + Bat Mitzvahs and soirees of every kind! I love the creative process of event design, and live for colorful linens, unique event lighting and thoughtful details.

What is your volunteer history?
I started volunteering for the Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House shortly after getting married, and have been active in various organizations ever since. I chaired the Ronald McDonald Red Tie Gala for 4 years and this experience fueled my love and passion for event planning. Over the past 10 years, I have been active in many Cincinnati Jewish organizations and have spent time volunteering at Rockwern Academy, Adath Israel & in various roles within the Cincinnati Jewish Federation. I just recently finished up a 2 year leadership position with the Jewish Federation as the Chair of Woman’s Philanthropy and have started a new role with my husband, Josh, as Chair of Major Gifts for the Annual Campaign.  Outside of the Jewish Community, I have been very active in Kindervelt, which is an auxiliary group of ladies that raise funds for divisions of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and just finished up serving a 1-year term as President of Kindervelt #50.  I have also recently been involved with event planing for Crayons to Computers, Most Valuable Kids, The Family Nurturing Center + Gameplan Cincinnati.

What are your hobbies?

I love all things creative! When I have spare time I enjoy painting, coloring, DIY projects and photography!

What is your best dancing asset?
Haha. I have no idea :-) I will let the fans be the judge of that!

What inspired you to dance for Jewish Family Service?

I am always up for a challenge. When I received the call , I laughed and said yes right away! When do you ever get the opportunity to do something this cool?

Jewish Family Services does so much to take care of our Cincinnati community and I want to help them to raise the funds to continue doing what they do!

What don't we know about you that would make someone want to support you?
When I commit to something, I do it at 150%.  I am a perfectionist and when it comes to raising money for a good cause, I am all in.

What did your family say when you told them you were dancing?
Ella, "Ummmmm mom... I am not sure what you do when a song comes on in the car is that like considered dancing."
Ethan..."Do you even know how to dance? Let me turn on some music and you can show me .”
