Older Adult Services
Growing older is just another part of the total life process. But the later years can become lonely and difficult for many older adults and a stressful time for their families. The Older Adult Services Department was created to help older adults maintain their independence and enhance their involvement with their family and their community. Our skilled and sensitive staff of geriatric care managers can help families meet the special physical, emotional and practical needs of older adults. Our staff's expertise includes a thorough knowledge of the community and the resources available.
Are you concerned about an older adult? Healthy aging needs the engagement of the whole person: emotional, intellectual, occupational, physical, spiritual, and social. With funding support from the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio, Jewish Family Service offers a wider range of activities designed to stimulate the mind, manage stress, use one's abilities, connect with others, and keep moving along the spiritual journey of life.
